HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Emily Lozada and Nick Fox, who were awarded 3 franchise licenses in the Boston (Manchester) market and recently opened their Concord, NH studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
As a family, we have always been interested in the idea of franchising. Over the years we have considered other brands and never felt as though any were a good fit. The possibility of creating a stream of income outside of a corporate 9-5 job has always been an attractive idea to us.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
The opportunity to enter into a franchise rather than an independent business is invaluable due to the pre-established brand reputation, as well as the culture of support that comes along with it. Having experienced corporate executives easily accessible to ask for advice every step of the way provides us as business owners with a wealth of information and support we would not have if we went the independent business route. Being in a close-knit community of franchising is also appealing to us because of the learning opportunities from fellow franchisees and the relationships that come along with it.

What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Immediately in love. Almost too many benefits to list. The two things that stood out to us most were the immediate rush of feel-good chemicals in the brain and body, as well as the extremely apparent accelerated muscle recovery. Leaving that sauna after an intense workout having not been to the gym in a while, we would’ve expected to be extremely sore for 3 days minimum, as one normally is. Quite the opposite - we felt energized, slept better, benefited significantly from the detox affects, and found ourselves dying to get back in the sauna every day following.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Absolutely wonderful! Mandy was beyond helpful and patient with all of our questions, making sure that we knew everything that was necessary at the time and reassuring any concerns. If anything, we were anxious to move more quickly because we were getting so excited.

How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
It was a long day packed full of information and excitement. Lovely to meet all the other new franchisees, the executives sharing their stories and experiences with us, and reaffirming our decision to move forward with HOTWORX.

What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Do it! HOTWORX is going to offer you an overwhelming amount of support, it is extremely worth it, and starts to feel like one big family the more you talk to them. We would say be patient and trust the Discovery Process. It is difficult to not rush the process and jump ahead, but it is well designed and formatted intentionally.

What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. The setup of a 24/7 business model with minimal staffing requirements allows more room for profit and growth.
2. Most storefront businesses require a significant amount of overhead, presenting needs for inventory tracking which demands more payroll spent, dependent on supply and demand fluctuations in the economy, as well as time spent ordering and predicting what is needed.
3. HOTWORX is the most unique and innovative concept we have ever seen. It is new technology in the fitness industry attracting those interested in health & wellness, beauty, fitness results, and so much more.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
We cannot wait to see how it benefits each individual. We have already felt it impact our lives in as little as two months. To be able to witness it help our community be healthier, happier, sleep better, feel better physically, and fall in love with it as we have will be the most rewarding part. Even at the location we belong, hearing how it has impacted our fellow members just puts such a huge smile on your face.

What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
To join the 500 club, having attained 500 members within the first year. We believe that HOTWORX will offer so many distinctive benefits to the community as mentioned above, and we can’t wait to help people along on their health and fitness journeys. We believe that memberships sell themselves with the wide range of benefits, it is so easy to be passionate about and share with everyone!

How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
Everyone’s dream is to be in a profession that they are passionate about, and for us this is it. To say we found something that fits our personal interests as well as our professional strengths would be an understatement. We believe HOTWORX will empower us financially and enable us to give back to the community. This is a dream set up that we could not be more grateful for.
