A Systematic Approach of a Proven Business Plan

HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Robin & Daniel LaBerge, who were awarded a franchise license in the Boston (Manchester) market and recently opened their Manchester, NH studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Although both Dan and I have been successful in our careers, we would like to enjoy this success more independently. I am a Physician Assistant and Dan is a Lieutenant on the Fire Department. We have worked for other people most of our lives. We love to help others and it’s time we helped each other in this joint adventure.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Franchising allows for a systematic approach of a proven business plan under a familiar branded name. There is trust that comes along with the name and a proven record of consistency across HOTWORX studios. This is a more ideal approach for first time business owners such as ourselves.

What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I was hesitant to try my first session, but Dan had no reservations. We completed the isometric session together. Afterwards, we were both surprised at the immediate results of feeling more energized, having our muscles feel less tense and an overall wellbeing. Right away, we knew there was something different about HOTWORX. This kept us coming back regularly.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process was methodical and made sense for someone who has never owned a business before. Having been exposed to a HOTWORX studio previously to the process, some of it was repetitive, but also very informative. For anyone who hasn’t been to a HOTWORX, it was very thorough. We had many questions along the way which were answered promptly.

How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day was exciting but also slightly overwhelming, which we were expecting. Our Franchise Recruiter had fully prepared us for this. We tried to absorb as much information as possible, but also knew that we were not expected to. Meeting the HOTWORX Executive TEAM was phenomenal! It was great to meet the team.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
We would encourage other candidates to consider HOTWORX, especially if they have never owned a franchise before, as there is a great amount of oversight and direction.

What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. We both believe in the infrared sauna technology and have experienced the results for ourselves.
2. The camaraderie of HOTWORX members.
3. The ease of the business model with the Performance Coach provided to make sure you stay on track with opening your HOTWORX studio.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
There is no other workout that is available in our area that is similar or even comparable to HOTWORX. It is innovative and ingenious!

What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
We would like to establish ourselves as a profitable and reputable franchise within the community by providing excellent customer service and retaining many memberships for our HOTWORX studio. We have entertained the idea of buying several more franchise licenses if we enjoy franchise ownership.

How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
Professionally, we will be business owners which will allow for more financial independence and possibly an early retirement. We would also be established as an anchor in the small business community. Personally, we have already begun to experience the physical and mental benefits that are offered from HOTWORX sessions.
