What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I have been in Human Resources and Benefits for most of my adult life. When the company I was working for acquired another business out of state they decided to close my location. When this happened, I was out of a job. I figured this is the right time to make my move.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
I owned a temporary staffing franchise for 15 years. I understand the benefits and the support that come with owning a franchise. I researched several different opportunities. When I came across HOTWORX on social media I was very intrigued. I knew that I could not replicate what HOTWORX could provide.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I have not experienced a HOTWORX session as of yet. Before I came across HOTWORX I purchased an infrared sauna that I put in my house. I am using it 3-4 times a week and loving it. Minnesota franchisees beware that I will be seeking you out in the near future for a session!
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
I worked with Nancy Price and had a great experience. The weekly calls were very informative and provided you with the tools to determine if this was going to be a good fit.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Exhilarating! I was in the group that was the last virtual Orientation Day of the year. Once again received valuable information and it was great to hear the passion in all of HOTWORX Corporate employees. It was really fun to meet new franchisees that will be going through the same process over the next several months. At the end of the day, we cheered to 2021.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
I signed my Franchise Agreement at the end of December and am already encouraging friends to research HOTWORX! Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. My belief in infrared - I was introduced to infrared by my son who had an ankle injury. He could not stop talking about how much the infrared sauna benefitted him to his speedy recovery.
2. The virtual instructors - With virtual instructors you don’t have to adjust your schedule to fit the gym's specific appointment times.
3. The ability to be open 24/7 with a limited number of employees necessary to operate.
What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
I am excited to offer the health benefits of the heat, the infrared and the exercising concept to the local community. The growth potential is very exciting in the Minneapolis area. The first HOTWORX studio will be opening in a few months and we are not too far behind. Super excited!
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
To train a knowledgeable staff that compliments our beliefs in being a safe and successful studio that generates many happy members.

HOTWORX will provide me with the training and continued support to be a successful franchise owner.
